OP here and I thought about that too and wanted to wait it out to see if it will clear up but he has never shown seasonal allergies before (hes 3). He also has an extremely deviated septum and can only breathe basically out of 1 nostril so whatever is going on is just wreaking havoc for his breathing. It’s too bad with what’s going on with COVID and the limiting of well visits I can’t just take him to get an allergy panel to rule it out - bc that’s totally what I’d do otherwise. Trust me I’ve been going back-and-forth back-and-forth on what to do and my heart is so heavy about it. But he’s going to a very good home - to my friend’s mom who has been a bit lonely lately. She’ll be able to spoil him rotten and give him more attention then we have been able to. Just feel bad for the guy dealing with so much change. Of all the things I debated before taking him in allergies never crossed my mind!

Great news, OP. I'm sad that you didn't feel like you could keep him, but you did your part to find him a great home (and to find your friend's mom a buddy).
