When adults use these sayings, kind of makes me cringe

lol. agree but it happened!! Sure enough a fellow mom at my sons nursery school. I almost just turned and walked away. but instead said "huh"? acting like i had no idea what it meant to which she replied "means totally". I think the look of disdain on my face said it all as I did not react with a single word, her face grew red and she quickly changed the subject.

This. Not even close to youngish, & I’m 41.

I think 20-30 is young

30-late 30's youngish

late 30's- 40's on the very end of the youngish spectrum (if you are really being optimistic)!

The average life expectancy for a female in the United Sates is 78.69.

42 is solidly mid-life. Nothing young about it.

OP is middle aged and persnickety. Solidly on track to be an old curmudgeon.

I think it's really funny. "Totes"

Sorry you have no sense of humor.

You're so proud of being an asshole to another mom. Weird.

So much for celebrating diversity.

What are you talking about? Those sayings are way, way older than that - especially “At the end of the day...”

I hate this. And the other one - You do you. Where is the headbanging emoji when I need it.

OMG! I really hate "unclench." That's a good one. AND, you do you. These are passive aggressive wet dreams.

+1 why are you so proud of this?

None of these bother me. I can't imagine living a life where no one is allowed to express themselves in a way I dislike.
