Overwhelmed and wondering how others manage the to do list.

I bullet journal. It helps me focus and get things done. Make a list the night before, so no time is wasted making decisions during the day. I have free time? Look at the list. It’s not a magic wand, but it’s a huge help. Ignore all the artsy bullet journals you see on the web and go with the original format.

The problem is social media. It's all a lie

I also do alot of errands during work lunch hours. DH takes care of our bills as he WFH.
Clean as I go, a little each day, run robot vacuums daily. My kids are old enough to clean their rooms. We do not have cleaners come.
Laundry and grocery shopping early in the week.
I love my wkends, so we try to do nothing but relax and have family fun.

^ yes age of your kids matters a lot.
If they are old enough to do some chores usefully it can really help.
It also matters how much work you have to bring home with you in the evenings that sucks your time.

You clean up as you go along. Never let your house become a mess. Teach ever very young children to pick up after themselves. Put a load of laundry in as soon as you get home. You have to be organized and in the time it took you to post here, your could have cleaned up your kitchen!
