Are halo rings really considered tacky?

Anonymous
I have one but the central stone is a dark sapphire. Also the bezel setting is extremely thin/delicate and doesn’t overpower the stones. I think that’s my main beef with most halo rings, they look okay if you’re looking straight down at them but from any other angle it’s obviously like 2/3 setting and 1/3 actual stones.

That said, I would never describe them as “tacky” or “dated”. Just not my style.

But there's something about the warmth of the rose gold around the larger diamond that really makes my ring gorgeous. I love it and I've never had a an issue with stones falling out. Been wearing it for 5 years.

Worst ring I have ever seen.

Honestly, PP, what is wrong with you??

I am not a big engagement ring person but I think that ring is gorgeous. It looks more vintage-y to me than many other engagement rings.
