She's not his girlfriend. He just stopped dating her to talk to me again and I stopped dating the man I was dating a few weeks. We never slept together.

Hey OP, unfortunately you got a taste of the wretched responders on DCUM.

If you ended it with him because he lied, this is tough. Did he own up to his lying, seek help and other than this one thing, has been honest?

Thanks for the advice. Yes that connection between us is strong. Besides that I think he has been honest. Yes I never realized how hateful rich people in this area were.

Yes you're right. Maybe I have a bad father figure but my dad lied to my mom the whole 30 something years they've been together yet they stayed together. Guess that's a bad example for me but I can't shake my feelings for him.
