Well we've been dating a while and I was in love with him so I was considering getting back together with him but if he has been lying about stupid things like this it makes me think twice.

Perhaps she lied to him, or he mistakenly took her job description to mean that she’s a lawyer.

If you know for a fact that he lied, though, don’t take him back. That’s a pointless lie that indicates that he probably does it with some regularity.

I don't give a crap and he lied to me which came off as weird and pathetic. He is trying to come back into my life and after dating a few years I do give a crap who he is dating after me. I'm dating but not one hundred percent over him.
