Also, anyone who has looked closely at the talent level of the players on all three and knows soccer can easily rank them. Bobby definitely knows, which probably explains why they avoid the matchup.

My DD plays VDA at least twice a year. Those girls are something else. Skilled, fast, physical and all have the killer instinct. No real weaknesses.

FCV is about winning not development. No interest in playing a team they will likely lose to. That would be terrible for recruiting efforts.

Fcv would not lose. VDA plays kickball that works against teams they are bigger and faster than. That would not be the case against FCV. They are just as athletic as VDA, if not more.

Not sure about that. FCV 06 success comes from pressing. They have issues when they run into more athletic teams that they cannot press. Look at the PA Classics game, FCV had to respect them and did not press. PA Classics fast forwards were able to penetrate and score from a good distance on FCV and win 2-0. VDA would be the same. The VDA athletic forwards would be trouble for the FCV defense. It would be a good game to watch.

I’ve seen both teams quite a bit and the level of coaching or lack there of at VDA would be shown against FCV. FCV is a superior team and that’s not the girls fault. It’s the fault of the vda coaching staff and playing in a weak division.

You are not as good as you think. Rewatch the PA Classics game. The FCV slow back line and mediocre goalkeeping would be exposed by VDA. Your only chance is to press and your girls won’t try that on this team. The VDA counter would be too much for the high back line you like to play.
