Really? DD plays for the club and an announcement has not been made. |
| I agree, they should forfeit. The club and the kids are one so it was their choice to join. |
Well they haven’t won a game... |
Correct. Not having an announcement made is very different than the person above who said the club was paying. My assumption until I heard otherwise would be that the club is not paying. Clubs are Non-profit organizations for the most part and probably can't take the kind of hit paying for 6 teams to head to Raleigh would cost. That isn't anti-VDA, it is reality that I would expect from most clubs. |
| so you added a trip at your own cost because of the club not having their crap together....yeah. I'd tell them to screw off. |
You might want to take that forfeit. LOL |
We were told that both games will now be played in NC. One of the games after the holidays. |
+1 |
| It might be easier for the club to just refund a week of fees to the parents if they are going to just forfeit all six games. |
Wilmington games were played and counted. Ncfc needs to be played. |
Funny? Actually makes the most sense. Now that they ran Spirit into the ground, they are going for the next easiest talent rich target. Their younger teams need some help, and where better to muddy the waters and try to pick off some talent than VDA’s young teams. |
| There might be something to that. Someone tell VDA to stop running their club like a clown car and maybe your talent won’t get lured away to FCV / St J. They’re always looking to poach. |
Yes players will now leave the younger vda teams to go to The St James because VDA management screwed up. That’ll definitely happen. I thought Spirit was taking over? Fcv ruined them? I could’ve sworn this forum was talking about spirit as the next big thing with smaller rosters and better coaching? Vda could go to NC 6 times and it’s still cheaper than Spirit and The Jimmy. |
| Has vda 04 won a game yet? |
