| These guys want cash. Don't kid yourself. If your kid is head and shoulders better (like top 20-30 for their age group in the DMV), sure, they'll take them and play them because Ws = cash. But if its remotely close? SHOW ME THE MONEY, JERRY!!!! |
More politics at BRYC than all the area leagues combined. |
You are vile. What kind of person thinks like this, other than the clown in the White House? We have gone to HP for three years and know a ton of the PWSI kids and families. They are fun and competitive kids - we'd play there if we lived near there, no doubt about it. |
I cannot speak to his coaching with specific teams, but my kid trains at HP precisely because of this. It rounds out the coaching our child gets at the regular club, which focuses principally on shape and flow. The atmosphere is fun and competitive. And yes, you can replicate the drills in your backyard, but you cannot replicate (1) the coaching they get during the sessions (plenty of adjustments get made), (2) the competitiveness of the kids to see who can do what during drills, and (3) the 20 minutes of 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 sessions at the end. The kids who go there are generally first-rate and DA kids still go for supplemental training. If you don't think HP and Prince William train well, take a look some time at where DCU players and other DA players are coming from on the boys side. |

Easy do you want to play VDA?
Just pay Quan money by signing up for HP Elite and let him know that at try out
|
I’m glad someone else agrees. He is so arrogant and condescending to parents and players. |
Why lie because you’re bitter. VDA is made up of plenty of kids that have never stepped foot in an HP Elite training. Don’t negate their real talent trying to insinuate they bought their way on a team. Come on now....move on to another club...but don’t make up stuff. |
No need to do either. If you couldn’t make his cut as a coach, or if your kid couldn’t make the cut at VDA, keep eating lemons. |
Don't negate their real talent...LOL - ok coach! They guy runs what is arguably the highest profile private training in the area, how good would his training be if his players weren't making his DA team? |
I have actually heard amazing things about Quan but on the other hand Alex has destroyed that team he is coaching now. I have heard no one wants him as their coach except for of course his players from pwsi that get showcased because if they fail he fails. He had the 04 team and again only wanted to take care of pwsi players or what he thought was good players which is funny because this guy couldn’t pick a talented technical player out if you paid him to. Oh wait they do ? He plays kick and chase and is a plain old jerk! VDA would be wise to faze him out of the girls side not sure if they didn’t they wouldn’t lose the teams they have left and the actually talented players. Line those kids up at VDA and have them actually run technical drills like settling the ball, first touch, dribbling at speed, juggling, passing on the ground, dribbling with there heads up, striking the ball inside outside foot and see if his super stars can stand out. It’s a shame though because his team last year was amazing. |
Destroyed it? How? Cut 3 players. Brought 3 new players in. One kid made ecnl national camp and one kid made the ICC all star team. |
It’s funny when coaches take ownership for players that come from different clubs that where developed elsewhere and oh btw 2 players don’t make up a team and that specific team was winning at the beginning of last year understanding how to make connections and now they look like a rec team struggling to grasp basic soccer mechanics and when you have a group of mostly talented players that can’t connect that’s failed coaching. |

you said it yourself... his players make his da team and... why doesn't his fabulous training work for girls? Girls VDA please !!!!! |
