Except the OP wasn't, liar. |
Yeah. Fortunately the bill has to go to the state senate. I'm sending my hurricane donation money to the Bahamas instead of NC. I implore all other liberals here to do the same. The people of the OBX just elected a Republican to Congress to replace a moderate Republican who passed away. |
The actual OBX voted blue. It’s the inland areas of the district that are red. And please consider giving money to Democrats to flip state legislatures this year and next. 2020 is critically important for map drawing after the census. |
exactly this. |
I have a ton of friends in NC that are trapped in that tea party gerrymandered mess and working their asses off to get fair representation
Please don't write off all of NC just because their state legislature is insane. |
No. I'm on a bunch of OBX forums and they were begging for money and donations and "MAGA" and "socialists suck" in between grifts this week. I've never seen so many private "Go Fund Me" pages. I'm responsible enough to keep up my flood insurance payments and put my belongings 5' off the ground when a flood is coming. And I evacuated. Walter Jones was a decent Republican even if I didn't agree with him much of the time. RIP. |
I'm glad Republicans are playing dirty now. They were reluctant to get into the mud pit with Democrats for years. No more. |
Your money will go nowhere due to the corrupt Bahamian government. Shades of Puerto Rico. Choose an organization that deals directly with the people. |
? |
Lol. The Republicans are the mud pit. |
Projection. It's a core tactic in the GOP playbook. |
Which is doubly sad, in a way. They know they’re doing wrong. |
