Wait...sorry about your long day? That goes from 8:00-1:00? |
DID YOU NOT READ THE TEXT EXCHANGES IN WHICH THERE WAS A CONFIRMATION OF NO VOTES? DO YOU KNOW A SINGLE ELECTED OFFICIAL? DO YOU THINK A BUNCH OF THE DEM LEGISLATORS JUST DECIDED TO TWIDDLE THEIR THUMBS YESTERDAY AND NOT SHOW UP FOR VOTES? VOTING SCHEDULES RULE THE LIVES OF ELECTED OFFICIALS. JUST PLEASE STOP. |
Right! The votes were not supposed to happen until after 1 PM. Please people. |

Read this. Lewis was not on the floor. The way I understand it, someone else called for the vote. Keep up. |
I presume the reference to the long day was about the day before. And if voting starts at 1 it can be a long day. |
The day didn't end at 1:00, dumbass. That is when the session on the House floor was supposed to begin. There would be debate on the House floor and then votes. The length of hte session would depend on how much is on the agenda, but generally goes on for several hours at least. |
So the leader had no power to undo what happened? So it was a coup? Come on! |
the term "plausible deniability" comes to mind. |
You snooze you lose. If the Democrat Party wants to prevent the Republicans from winning votes, the Democrat Party first needs to show up and vote.
It’s their own fault if they believed we wouldn’t call a vote. |
again, you have got to be kidding. and that fact that you resort to an epithet speaks volumes about you. |
Dishonoring 9/11 to own the libs. Lovely. |
When abusers beat their partners, they frequently tell them that the victim is at fault, that the victim made them do this, that it was the victim’s fault. When your “defense” sounds like an abuser, you’re in a sorry state. |
Because they were busy pulling a fast one over on their Democratic colleagues. Much more important than honoring the dead. |
The GOP is evil. To pretend otherwise is lunacy. |
Spoken like a typical sleazeball Republican. |
