Okay, well this is precisely the kind of “elitist attitude” that Democrats are (rightly or wrongly) maligned for. And the “snowflakes” still vote. So if we want to beat Trump, we have to coddle them to some extent. Keep your eyes on the prize. |

Republicans don't want to be "coddled." And, we certainly don't want to be lectured by Dems who believe they know better than anyone. I would say if you want to beat Trump, you will need to take a serious look at the policies your candidates are proposing - especially with respect to illegal aliens. Republicans strongly believe that the interests of citizens of this country should come first (and there are also many Dems and Independents who believe this as well). This is not the stance of ANY of the Democratic candidates at this point. If you have any hope of winning, that has to change. But, frankly, I believe it is already too late. |
please, like republicans give a shit about the citizens of THIS country.
Biggest crock of shit ever. |
Gillibrand is the epitome of privilege. Her attempts to distinguish herself from the countless Dem candidates through class and race warfare is abhorrent. |
Hey, genius...Republicans ARE citizens of this country. |
I am doing nothing to check my privilege. I am comfortable in my white skin and that my climb from poverty to owning a company employing most Hispanic workers is good for them, the economy, and our customers. I am not rich but my workers and I often marvel that we can afford to live reasonably well. |
White womansplaining. |
they sure do have a funny way of showing that they care about their fellow citizens when they take away money from social programs, poison our environment for profit, let our infrastructure crumble and try to kill public education. All while giving money to the rich/corporations who screw all of us sideways. |
Don’t give her ideas. Next she’ll take a knee when someone starts a political event with the National Anthem. Her nuanced, white privilege gesture will honor the Baltimore blacks who don’t have the bus fare to visit Fort McHenry. This could escalate. |
All of your tripe is hyperbole. Reminds me of the ads run a few years back about Paul Ryan "throwing granny off the cliff." Those didn't work too well either. |
Institutional racism explains Asian success. |
+1 Urban dictionary that if it isn't in there already. |
This is a #FactFree Zone. Your facts are not welcome here. |
And it is a term picked up by every media org if any stripe. It is offensive and divisive. Gillibrand and her privileged sort promulgate it only for their own gains. |
