This term is toxic. Acknowledging that POCs face discrimination is not.

It was a good answer. I suspect Gillibrand gets it a bit more than most because she represented a rural, largely white district before she became a senator. Her evolution to more liberal positions on several issues was always going to be an Achilles heel in this race, and realistically I don’t see her going anywhere. But I hope she stays in the Senate, and the other candidates could learn from her response here.

This term is toxic. Acknowledging that POCs face discrimination is not.

Asian here who thinks that terminology is very misleading. Why can't we just call it what it is? It's racism.
