| ...Then you have never seen her at work. |
| I believe it to be true. Talk to some staff members outside of her cheerleading clique. She has serious emotional issues and half the staff leaves every year. |
| Is the failure to deal with such allegations of abuse and racism tied to Murphy’s departure? |
| This is one example of the very real bullying problem in APS. It is now impossible for the school district to say that it has not been informed of this. And if even more lawsuits like the one pending against Wright await, it should not surprise anyone. Do you want your tax dollars going toward her legal defense? |
| I’m so glad the teacher spoke up about this to the SB. I completely believe her story to be true. |
What lawsuit is this? You keep referencing it, but I can’t find a record of any such lawsuit filed anywhere. |
NP-From what I understand, a former staff member (not Oxendine) filed the lawsuit. Mrs. Oxendine mentioned the complaint at the SB. |
And I’m saying that people keep repeating this rumor, but it’s not yet been substantiated. These kinds of lawsuits aren’t anonymous, if it really exists, someone post a case name, docket number, etc. Otherwise this is just speculation and rumor-mongering. |
She mentioned complaints/grievances filed with the SB, not a lawsuit. |
| Regardless, all of the above take time and resources to deal with. And the school system (aka, all of us) foots the bill. |
| OP here--I'm not aware of lawsuits only complaints to the SB. |
Internal, administrative complaints aren’t lawsuits w/pleadings available to the general public, but they cost taxpayers money to resolve and can impact the respondent’s career. |
Sure, but they’re not lawsuits. Lawsuits usually follow when the administrative process doesn’t produce a satisfactory result, so they’re typically a more severe escalation than an administrative complaint. |
But that's the only card I play. I don't have the personal responsibility card ever. |
