| Yes. Loudoun REC, not travel. AKA, “the competition.” |
You can only tell Loudoun travel from rec by the jerseys. Style of play is exactly the same. Jungle ball. |
Jungle ball? Sounds like a racist comment. |
It’s not. Loudoun is about as white as it gets. You can call it kickball if you are afraid just about everything can be perceived as racist. Maybe that is a ‘safer’ term, or maybe not. |
| Is it true that Barca's technical director is gone and they brought in someone else to replace him? How's the new guy? |
He left to become the TD at the new Nashville FCB location that just opened. The new TD at NoVA was formerly TD back-to-back at FCB in Dubai, Cairo, UAE. |
Is he an upgrade or just like-for-like replacement? |
Haven't had much interaction yet but seems like for like replacement. Both come from the same FCB training program the methodology is ingrained. I haven't noticed much difference in team training or how the club is run this year. |
| Loudoun has a lots of whites, but team indian is catching up. They aren't athletic, but they can sure do some mean calculations on you. |
Guess this settles the question on racism at Barca VA and explains the “jungle ball” comment better. |
Thanks. |
Wow - 1 comment on anonymous message board and Barca is now racist. Hopefully you aren’t this dumb in real life. |
Yes, we are all dumb, un-athletic “jungle ball” players. Buzz off since all you have to offer is trashing those who aren’t like you. |
|
The PP did not say anything racist. The term "jungle ball" is an urban term that refers to a basketball game with me first attitude and rarely passing the ball. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Jungle%20Ball
In soccer context, it refers to teams, which rely on athleticism and winning 50/50 long balls rather than on passing combinations. It is not a racist term. |
