Seraphina Summer Magnolia Serena Palena Andrea (said w a long "A"--Ohn-dreah; a dear friend has this name & her mom really had to train us all to say it correctly when we were younger, but I think it would be easy to make that pronunciation stick now bcs so many people have alternate spellings/pronunciations) Amalia Sonya/Sonia LOVE Soraya! Reminds me of Miriah, which I also think is lovely, but Soraya sounds more elegant & unique now (since I get to hear Miriah all the time ; ) |

| Ever see the movie or read the book, The Stoning of Soraya? Heartbreaking true story. I do think it is a beautiful name though, albut I would assume someone named Soraya would likely have Persian or Arab roots. I don't think that's a reason to keep you from using though if you really like it. It's beautiful. |
