I mean, WTF. Our society is screwed up if we can't see a middle aged women as herself.

I noticed the blurring too and thought to myself did they really do that?!

You are imagining that blur. CA looked 100% her age in this and every wrinkle showed and she was still beautiful. I liked her even more for being willing to be shown so naturally.

she's done several comedies...Legally Blonde as the dead guys daughter who actually killed him, Scooby Doo as Velma, Daddy's Home movies etc.

She was Chutney in Legally Blonde?! I had no idea!

Loved this show, cool to see James Marsden again, I hope whoever made this (Christina Applegate and Will Ferrell?) do more stuff, the quality is high.

Linda Cardellini is in the Avengers (Hawkeyes wife) and was the main star in Freaks and Greeks

And she was on ER.

and mad men? I think CA's acting was impeccable. Better than Mrs. Maizel. I think she'll be nominated for awards for this role! hard to believe she was Kelly buddy!

I think Linda Cardellini is even better - she has to show so much range in her role as Judy.

Binged it this weekend. Liked it a lot. Agree that CA courageously showed her true age and that actress playing Judy is stunning. Kind of had a Six Feet Under vibe to me.

Nope, go back and watch the scene where she’s in the Home Depot-like store. Absolute blurring of her forehead.

I have a weakness for James Marsden since Enchanted, Hairspray and 27 Dresses. I love when he plays a cad/horrible person.

I binged watched yesterday before Veep was on, but still have 2 episodes to go tonight. Linda Cardellini is so good in this, as is Christina Applegate.

I think she both looks her age - and also looks like she's had work done. But that would be in keeping with her character, so!

Ugh I love this show so much. We finished episode six last night. Are planning/hoping to binge the rest tonight.

I'm loving this show! Trying to dole it out bit by bit to make it last, but I'm on episode 7 tonight.

I can't figure out how Jen lives in such a huge, beautiful house. She's a realtor and her husband was an (unsuccessful) musician. Where's the money coming from?

It’s eye-candy for the audience. Same reason Steve McGarrett in Hawaii 5-0 lives in a beachfront mansion he “inherited” from his dad. No one wants to see a small bungalow without a view.

She was also the wife of Vigo Mortenson (Tony Lip) in Green Book last year. Not a huge part, but definitely shows off more of her range. She's the reason I started watching and wasn't disappointed.

Obsessed with the way they styled Judy. Wish I was skinny enough to pull off those looks.

Yeah, great clothes. I think you can get similar stuff from the J Crew Point Sur line. (I feel like such a twerp/dweeb saying that but I think it's right.)
