Mercedes GLE or Beamer X5?

These are pictures of the X5 from two generations ago and the previous generation GLE.

Here is what they look like now:

I had the same issue with my Mercedes.

Could you both elaborate?

It was in the shop constantly pretty much from year 1 for various problems. I was driving on Wisconsin one day and it literally just stalled out of nowhere, which was terrifying. I have two friends who had the same car and they'd complain about how horrible they were too. They're beautiful, drive well but completely unreliable. By the time the car had 50,000 miles on it, DH and I joked that we had paid for the car twice and traded it in even though we try to keep cars at least 10 years.

This has to be a C class.

Uh.. even more cake to Mercedes. BMW did no change much but MB ended up with more coolness to it.

GLE has one major advantage, so it seems. From the resell or lease perspective. I think. GLE model available is 2020 while BMW X5 is still 2019. So technically it is either like you are buying one year older or younger model, either way you slice it. Then gain, I think that X5 is coming out soon with a 2020 right?

If you're paying out of pocket for repairs on a <50k mile Mercedes it must have been old...MB new car warranty is 4 years/50k miles which would cover everything.

We’ve had Mercedes for many years and they don’t have problems. I’m not a big fan of the interior but it’s not my car it’s DH car.
BMW I guess we would have had to start sooner.
