LOL. Still pushing the narrative, we see. Sorry you didn't get your fondest wish - a reason to push for impeachment. |
So John Oliver was right: this IS stupid Watergate. |
Here is the thing. This is just restating the presumption of innocence. Trump does not need to prove himself innocent any more than anyone else does. Prosecutors make the call about whether to charge with a crime if they see enough evidence to support that. Here, Mueller did not recommend that. Prosecutors do not decide if someone is innocent. Under our laws, they are presumed innocent. |
Not quite. Report also states that a number of witnesses invoked the 5th and were not offered immunity and that conversations on things like WhatsApp, in addition to communications that were deleted. |
In the cigar bar meeting in August 2016 Manafort, Gates and Kilimnik discussed the Trump campaign "messaging and its internal polling. According to Gates, it also included discussion of 'battleground" states,' which Manafort identified as Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota"
How CONVENIENT that Trump won 3 of those 4 states. |
OR it could be that HRC didn't even try in those states. As she has herself acknowledged. |
Lol! If there was no crime, why did everyone lie? Why did folks go to jail for lying about it?! |
Rather it was not possible to establish that they coordinated, given the evidence available, which was limited by privilege, by actual destruction of evidence, etc. |
And note also, even that is limited to coordination with officials of the Russian govt. |
Because no poll showed Trump ahead or even close in those states in August 2016 - funny that they focused on those states, isn't? Also funny that Manafort was willing to go to jail rather than tell the truth about that meeting. |
Time after time Trump demanded that his officials do something illegal, and because they had more integrety than he does -- even LEWANDOWSKI!!! -- they refused to carry out his orders, thereby saving their own skins from future prosecution for obstruction of justice. |
And? |
Key sentence, Page 2 (or 10 of PDF) : "A statement that the investigation did not establish particular facts does not mean that there was no evidence of those facts."
Congress must act! |
There's a ton of "Harm to Ongoing Matter" blacked out. |
Trump tried to get Hillary's private emails:
