Who cares? So what if people make videos. I could give you a list of kids that have videos on YouTube that now play D1 including STANFORD and HARVARD. Nothing wrong with promoting a kid unless you are interfering with the coaching, game, or bad mouthing club. By the way, I would be willing to bet the kids that do play 3v3 in the younger age groups have a soccer IQ that is higher, ball skills that are faster than the ones who don't. Quit being a know it all a-hole. Back on topic. IMO 3v3 is a good idea for ages U8 through U12 NO MATTER THE SKILL. It's fun for the kids to play with friends while learning quick decision making, possession soccer, among other things. /Thread |

Girls who won 2016 Disney U10 3v3 now all play for U15 Bethesda ECNL. One of which is already a two star recruit as Sophomore in High School AT GOOD COUNSEL (Imani Dorsey much?)
Currently there are a couple of boys that play on 2009 3v3 team who also went to Disney. Two of them play up on the '08 Bethesda Pre-Academy team. I guess playing 3v3 at a young age was a mistake for them for these young players. SMH.... |
| This sideline drama is why we are not interested in FCV |
If you looked at the other videos posted by the parent it would be obvious that these are more of the family journal type of video posts and not promoting a kid or a team for some potential gain. Stop being so cynical. |
| FCV 08 play up Dad who posted these videos is on these boards all day long thrashing other clubs. He has promoted his DD before. Nothing new here. |
I agree. Looks very family to me. I don't see any "promoting"?!?! The guy has two soccer videos up. Seems the hate is really the other way around. |
So he is here everyday but a year after the event he finally got around to posting the video here? Ummm sure, that is more likely than you just being cynical. |
