The kids being defended are the “opponents” in the video. Regardless of the skill levels ALL the kids in the video are young kids and the level of criticism says more about you as a person than it does about some kids playing a game.

Ummm. No. This is the first I’ve posted in this thread.

I’ve seen it before where parents promote their kids with videos on this forum.

I will never understand it. Do they think they will be discovered?

Worked pretty well for that girl out in California...and IMO there are other girls that are just as talented.

OMG. College coach here again. Your offer has been revoked.

Who cares? So what if people make videos. I could give you a list of kids that have videos on YouTube that now play D1 including STANFORD and HARVARD. Nothing wrong with promoting a kid unless you are interfering with the coaching, game, or bad mouthing club.

By the way, I would be willing to bet the kids that do play 3v3 in the younger age groups have a soccer IQ that is higher, ball skills that are faster than the ones who don't.

Quit being a know it all a-hole. Back on topic.

IMO 3v3 is a good idea for ages U8 through U12 NO MATTER THE SKILL. It's fun for the kids to play with friends while learning quick decision making, possession soccer, among other things.

Girls who won 2016 Disney U10 3v3 now all play for U15 Bethesda ECNL. One of which is already a two star recruit as Sophomore in High School AT GOOD COUNSEL (Imani Dorsey much?)

Currently there are a couple of boys that play on 2009 3v3 team who also went to Disney. Two of them play up on the '08 Bethesda Pre-Academy team.

I guess playing 3v3 at a young age was a mistake for them for these young players. SMH....

If you looked at the other videos posted by the parent it would be obvious that these are more of the family journal type of video posts and not promoting a kid or a team for some potential gain.

Stop being so cynical.

I agree. Looks very family to me. I don't see any "promoting"?!?! The guy has two soccer videos up. Seems the hate is really the other way around.

So he is here everyday but a year after the event he finally got around to posting the video here? Ummm sure, that is more likely than you just being cynical.
