| 7th grade, iPhone 7. We changed our family plan over to sprint and even adding a phone for him was cheaper than what we had before. Older teens had phones already. And I was tired of him borrowing my phone for Pokemon Go. |

| DD rec'd my DH's old iPhone 6 at the end of 4th grade. At first it was just phone and messaging on wifi, as well as some game apps. Now she has text, some social media (6th grade). |
