Meant to also say that discourse doesn’t matter when you have a potus that lies ten times a day and incites violence.

This.

And the damage they are doing to the environment, health care, and our democracy.

We are not the party that has romantic feelings about having a president who has already served two terms to come back for a third, and maybe a fourth after that.

That’s official dem platform? -np

No, that's why I said romantic feelings. Obama was pretty vocally confident that he would have won a third term.

Actually the average over the last seven weeks has been closer to 30 and last Saturday when he held a rally and did several interviews it was over 80 in just one day!!!

The GOP preys on the fears of bigots in order to hold power so they can enrich themselves further. I’m voting against THAT.

The Democrats accuse everyone of who disagrees with them of being a racist or a moron or a deplorable, and have convinced themselves that conservatives are evil. I'm voting against having people with that mindset in power.

The fact that your top issue for the election is illegal immigration does nothing to dissuade me from believing that you are a racist, moron, or deplorable.

And......the liberal moderator enters the fray to illustrate the point.

That’s rich coming from you who supports a country’s supposed chief leader fomenting hate in rallies funded by us

(Just kidding. I'm the OP, and the one the moderator just accused of being a racist, moron, or deplorable.)

You said the most important issue to you is illegal immigration. If that is more important to you then healthcare, the economy, war and peace, etc., you are obviously a racist, moron, and deplorable. It is pretty clear that being against "illegal immigration" is simply a respectable way of announcing that you are a white supremacist. One scratch below the surface will reveal that you are actually against nearly all immigration, legal or otherwise, involving non-white people. Oh sure, you will cloud that behind arguments that you want immigrants that will "help our economy" and are "educated" and so on, but the truth is pretty obvious.

You are not really helping things Jeff. Did someone else get a hold of your Admin account?

Not helping things? What are you talking about?

I disagree with Jeff's assertion that anyone who thinks illegal immigration is more important to them than healthcare, the economy, war and peace, etc, is obviously a racist, moron, and deplorable. I can't fathom how any rational person can come to this conclusion. People don't all have the same take on what's most important to them. To someone who has good healthcare and believes the healthcare system in the US is working okay for the most part (not me, but someone can think this), that the economy is doing great, and that the US is generally secure from threat of war, then illegal immigration may very well be more important. I am not saying I agree that it is the most important issue, but I can understand and appreciate that people have different priorities as a result of their circumstances - it doesn't automatically make them a racist, moron, and deplorable. I find Jeff's behavior beyond the pale, therefore I questioned whether someone else got a hold of his account.

+1 I know a Trump voter who is very concerned about MS-13, because they murdered someone a few miles away from her home. Not racist, she is a very fearful person in general and surfs the net for things to scare herself with. She was already primed for Trump's fearmongering, and she fell for it.

Sorry to burst your bubble folks. No matter how hard you try you will not experience the life the majority race experienced 100 years ago. The train left the station 100 years ago. You may try to prop up GOP for a little longer but you will never have those Gory days of 100 years ago. Time only moves forward my friends. None of you has a time machine to go back and relive 100 years ago gory days!

Let the fun begin with Democratic majority in the House. Come 2020, the House, the Senate, and the White House in control of Democrats. May be the GOP true conservatives split from the Trumpsters and form their own party.

So? Some Republicans wish St. Ronnie could come back from the dead. Hell, there are Democrats who wish that right now.

This. We need checks on Rs. They got all the brunches of the government, they feel they can do anything and, what’s worse, they are rigging the system to keep the power in the future.
