Genocide? Are we rounding up Muslims and Central Americans, and sending them to concentration camps?

I mean, we locked up their children, so yeah...

Democrat here. I did not vote today due to the rain. It’s dangerous on the roads and my vote probably won’t make any difference anyways.

Pathetic. And it's not raining that hard.

(Just kidding. I'm the OP, and the one the moderator just accused of being a racist, moron, or deplorable.)

You said the most important issue to you is illegal immigration. If that is more important to you then healthcare, the economy, war and peace, etc., you are obviously a racist, moron, and deplorable. It is pretty clear that being against "illegal immigration" is simply a respectable way of announcing that you are a white supremacist. One scratch below the surface will reveal that you are actually against nearly all immigration, legal or otherwise, involving non-white people. Oh sure, you will cloud that behind arguments that you want immigrants that will "help our economy" and are "educated" and so on, but the truth is pretty obvious.

Wow- I’ve long understood and accepted that this is a site that leans liberal, but this coming from the moderator crosses a major line.

np. I hope you see this after you come back from voting. You are not racist, a moron nor deplorable. They can't Kavanaugh us all.

You are the party who shelters rapists, pedophiles, and racists. Own it.

Wow, you are nasty. I was on the fence about voting today with the rain and the inconvenience, but you just motivated me to leave work early and vote a straight GOP ticket. Thanks PP!

You weren't going to vote until someone was nasty to you on the internet? What a complete crock of sh!t- np

The GOP preys on the fears of bigots in order to hold power so they can enrich themselves further. I’m voting against THAT.

The Democrats accuse everyone of who disagrees with them of being a racist or a moron or a deplorable, and have convinced themselves that conservatives are evil. I'm voting against having people with that mindset in power.

The fact that your top issue for the election is illegal immigration does nothing to dissuade me from believing that you are a racist, moron, or deplorable.

It’s deplorable that you would call someone a racist as the moderator because they don’t necessrily agree with your opinion. Jeff you are wrong. People should be allowed to disagree. It’s how President Trumo got into office because people such as yourself refuse to hold discussions without name calling. I am sad to see that as a country we are being divided by the lack of dialogue and accepting the diversity of opinions. I’d urge you to not delete this comment but allow the aforementioned poster to explain themselves. Be accountable, moderate instead of denigrating.

Maybe you should finish reading the thread before you respond? The OP has had plenty of opportunities to explain himself. His explanation is that he is not a white supremacist because he voted for a black guy that had no chance of winning.

But you come out with the comments calling him a racist moron before that, based solely on the fact that he said illegal immigration was his primary voting issue.

Yup. I'm the one he attacked. I explained that I voted for the black candidate to the white one for my congressional representative (due to policies....skin color is not a factor in my vote), and presented this as evidence that I am not a white nationalist - how horrible to accuse me of such a disgusting thing - and he said I was willing to vote for the black man only because I knew he wouldn't win.

The moderstor crossed the line, and you and others have told him he is wrong.

He is making liberals look bad with this tyoe of venom.

Roy Moore, Kavanaugh, Steve King. They are all GOP.

Wow, just when I doubt myself as a Republican in 2018, the liberal crazies show their true colors. Again, thanks for the motivation. The GOP may not be perfect, but it’s better than this.

You make no sense. Your party nominates Roy Moore (backed by the president) and has voted in Steve King for 15 years. But it's the "liberal crazies" who name names who have an issue with? Weak.

You weren’t going to vote because it’s raining? Wow. Have a seat, PP.

More indifference than the rain. I am your classic independent. But the liberal intolerance on display here has fired me up, as it tends to do. I suspect there are many more like me out there that the polls don’t pick up. I wasn’t sure I was going to vote and decided to check this thread quickly to help me decide.

I'm intolerant to the nastiness of the GOP today.
