| I saw them play a game at the high school showcase yesterday. Very respectable showing. Lots of individual talent in addition to their blue chip fogo. Mids seemed especially deep and athletic. Still about a third of the roster seems lacking in lacrosse IQ and some basic stick skills. Don’t see any threat to the top of the IAC next spring. |

its Fall ball.... relax.
Some programs put way too much of an emphasis on summer ball and fall ball . |
| Who plays in the high school showcase? Boys already on varsity or a mix of varsity & jv from last year? |
Fall ball leagues are just for development of the played and the team and fun. Showcases are different. Players want to show well in from tod the college coaches. The team and its coaches want to shine. It’s also about bragging rights. How many times does BL get to play pVI or Hill v Bullis. So yeah “fall ball” but much more serious and telling of the coming season. |
I don’t know who was on the roster last year but I was told the showcase team was made up of members from varsity last year, any junior even if he played jv last spring and the sophomores and freshmen who were considered “good”. |
| What is the name of the showcase? Thanks |
My son wasn't invited but he said it was the East Coast one? |

Boys already on varsity or those pegged for varsity or anyone who plays for Next Level. |
| Are the kids at The Heights mainly Next Level kids because of their HC. I’m pretty sure VLC, Madlax and BW are represented. So it’s probably not accurate to assume all STA players will be playing club for NL. |
| STA announced they will cut kids after 2019 tryouts? wTF. One win against Landon doesn’t make you a serious lax program in the IAC! |
| Are you saying they’re cutting boys this year and haven’t made cuts in the past? |
I can only speak with direct knowledge for the last 3 years - no cuts. |
| how many kids are trying out? |
My son said 25 in his grade. So maybe a total of 100 for varsity and JV? |
