I figured it was good karma.

Unfortunately the official hospital or organization milk donation centers were too cumbersome

It's not unfortunate. It's done for the safety of babies. It's crazy to give your child another person's bodily fluids without knowing full medical history, proper disease screenings and a doctor's ok. Not any breast milk is magic. Ignorance endangers children...

My ex SIL bragged that she regularly gave her infant breast milk from her neighbor whom she deemed as “clean.”

She brought this up to gauge whether I’d donate to her in the same manner.

Donating is better, but if you choose to try to sell, you should read this first:

I do agree that it is weird to sell it, especially on Graigslist. I will look into donation options by calling the hospital and OB. I am super healthy and the milk is good so someone else can definitely benefit from it. I think we should definitely have better options for under producing moms, I was surprised to hear the hospital where I delivered didn't have a breastmilk bank.

I do know a woman who overproduced and sold hers. She would just advertise on a local Facebook moms page. I would never ever buy bodily fluids from a random stranger (I combo fed), but apparently she always had takers and made a lot of money doing it so there are clearly people who are interested.
