Do you consider 5 feet at 115 pounds fat or chubby?

This is an interesting point. Do you agree that with each additional inch, a person can add 5 pounds?

Way to miss the point. Why are so many people here your level of doy?

I am 5'6", and 125, and I am definitely not thin. So, I would think it's chubby. Definitely not fat.

I'm 5'1 and 126 and in no way fat or even chubby. This is a dumb question that can't even be considered without knowing more about your build, fitness level, measurements, clothing size. And even then, a "chubby" person can be more attractive than a thin one depending on the eye of the beholder.

If you think you're "definitely not thin" at 5'6" and 125, then you've got some body dysmorphia going on. Either that or you have zero muscle.

You are overweight.

No they’re not. Not even by the BMI calculator, which doesn’t factor in variables like breast tissue. 5’1 and 126 lbs is in the normal range.

I’m apple shaped and at about 120 right now, 5 feet plus a half inch.

For me, this is too much, as I carry it all at my waist. I feel physically uncomfortable because of my belly area when I’m sitting, and I look like I could be pregnant.

Everywhere other than my waist I don’t look or feel I’m carrying extra weight.

I feel most comfortable when I’m closer to 110. It’s ok if I go under 110, but I don’t feel good below 105, just hangry and tired.

I am 5'1" and I'm about 118 lbs and *I* feel pretty chubby. It doesn't take much at this height. I like how I look at 110 lbs (although as I get older my face looks older when I get below 115lbs). I am having thyroid issues and trying to regulate it with an endocrinologist. I've been doing well workout wise, but need to reign in my caloric intake if I want to lose weight. I would be content at 113-115lbs at this point.

Your BMI is well within normal range. So, by medical definition, not fat.

Whether you are in shape is another question.

On my wedding day I was 5'0" and 115. I had been working out like a boss and looked amazing and wore a size 2.

I think that's a reasonable guideline for most people, but it depends a lot on body frame. I'm 5'4'' and 110-115 is a pretty normal range for me whereas for other people with a different build, it would probably be too light. Even though 140 is a "normal" BMI, I definitely look really chunky at that weight whereas others look fine.
