Man, they are really pushing this Jack Ryan program on Netflix

I've seen maybe half of the episodes of The Office spread across multiple seasons. I didn't think he could make the transition away from comedy until I saw 13 Hours and A Quiet Place. He's got some range even though he may not have the star power of your typical action star.

I binged the whole series of Jack Ryan. I didn't think much of the first few episodes, but by the end I really enjoyed it. His character was a bit gullible and not entirely fleshed out, but it worked for a TV show.

My DH and I just finished it and thought it was really good.

There was also some in ep 2 but I don’t know the extent bc I hit FF. As for ep 3, I kept FF but it went on and on and on.

Meh. I was more offended by the poor geography details in one of the later episodes. The scene opens in a suburban neighborhood as a car pulls into a driveway:
Annandale, MD

Can anyone check the map and the screen graphics???

He works at CIA in Langley and they show him biking to work through downtown DC. That annoyed me. Do people really bike from DC up to McLean?

I caught that too. Long, improbable bike ride from DC to McLean

I’m watching now. Really enjoying it!

I wish writers wouldn’t be so lazy and make up anecdotes from 9/11. The hijackers on flight 77 didn’t have shabby shoes:

I watched all 8 episodes and liked it overall. I would definitely watch season 2, if there is one. I’ve never seen The Office, so the Jack Ryan actor was fine by me.

When movies and tv shows do things like that it makes DH and I crazy. We are always yelling at the tv when the improbable commute is shown.

The commute didn't bother as much as him riding without a helmet and with headphones in. So unsafe!

After a session of rowing, cutting through downtown traffic, while looking impeccable in a casual button up and jeans? Lol...don't think so. Anyways, watched the first two episodes and have been hooked so far.

And if so...they could have shown some amazing views.
It looks like he was waking straight in from city views, not gorgeous rolling hills!
Dh and I were saying...well maybe it’s not hq since there are many offices around. But those other offices don’t have a seal on the floor...

My boss rides his bike from Mclean to our offices here in DC most days.
