Hmm what do you really want, op? Your dh makes good money. Not enough for your lifestye? Or is it a prestige issue? Either way you are wasting energy on something that is beyond your control.

Live below your means and save lots of money so you guys can invest and get supplemental income. Maybe he will make more someday, maybe he won’t, you can’t control or count on that. You can control what you spend.
