No small-business owners generally covers that. Especially if the woman describes it as an “exciting small business” I say this as a former non-MLM small-business owner. I was actually in a field dominated by women and it was irritating having the critical service we provided lumped in with selling scented candles and faux-healthy pink elixirs. |
Cool. |

Guy saying he’s “Successful” = looking to get laid in exchange for buying you dinner. And will probably get pissed if it doesn’t happen on the first date.
Doubly so if he uses word more than once in his profile. |
Or, he knows how much women here care about accomplishments and status. And what guy is not looking to get laid? |
Truly successful men show, they don’t tell. |
Truly successful men don’t need dating profiles ya idjit. If you’re on Match, you face ... us ordinary men. Oh the horror. |
It doesn't always. I'm Latina and I would definitely describe my body that way. Maybe for white women that's what it means. I know plenty of fat women that I wouldn't say are curvy. |
Yeah, I am also curvy but not fat/overweight and I know better than to put “curvy”on a dating site. Better to have a full body pic showing it than to describe myself as curvy because everyone thinks curvy means fat even on DCUM. |

“Truly successful men show, they don’t tell.”
Exactly. They don’t feel the need, and often don’t want, to talk about their bank accounts or job title. And there are plenty of ways to work indicate that you’ve done well without claiming that your “successful.” |
Disagree. I'm a woman in a consentually non-monogamous relationship and both myself and my primary partner put ethically non-monogamous in our profiles. There is also a large poly community in DC. We both include this in for 1. So everyone is on the same page because consent and openness are essential qualities to our relationship and any new partners we might meet and 2. It's easier to date people who are also in open relationships or poly, so listing it in the profile makes it easier to match with people in similar relationships. Big difference between being in an open relationship and cheating. I see a fair amount of cheaters on Tinder - would never date them. |
| Nothing in the woman’s profile=I can’t be bothered to actually write down thoughts. I’m using this site just for hookups. |
| If you don't want men to think you're fat then don't describe yourself as "curvy" ever. The other dead giveaway is extreme closeups of your face. I've seen ones that won't show below their bottom lip. I wonder if they're obese? |
You exhaust me. No one wants to deal with this sh_t. |
X2. No full body photo = fatty. |
