I like Callie, it was on our short list. I don’t know any Callie’s but I know one Kallie.

I know a Kallie whose full first name is Kathleen.

Both terrible. Try again, OP.

Caddie is pretty terrible and may lead to a lifetime of teasing. Callie is somewhat better, and Callista is a nice name (better than Calliope or god forbid Calypso).

But please consider that people with think golf, or the basket that you put at the bottom of the stairs to schlep stuff up to the top, for the rest of her life if you name her Caddie. Or they might think of caddis fly. But it's really not cute any way you slice it.

Callista - "most beautiful", yet another nymph who was victimized by Zeus and came to a bad end
Calliope - muse of eloquence and epic poetry
Calypso - powerful nymph with an island and agency (though bad taste in men)

I'd go with Calliope and Calypso over Callista.

I think you mean "catty".

Yes, of course it’s catty, but I see this misspelled all the time on the internet, so I mean that people think it’s actually “caddy” and will associate the word with the name.
