No, that’s for shallow professionals.
It is always considered an honorable profession.

+1 I don't know anyone who actually thinks that. It's an honorable profession, universally

Honorable for a female. Male nurse not so much.

Yes, the only one I know does tons of Ecstacy, smokes a lot of pot, and who knows what else.

But, yes I’d date one if he were appealing.

What kind of job does s/he have? That sounds very unusual.

I suspect that they left out some major details or simply inflated the numbers. I know many nurses and not one would come close to 200k @ 2 days /week.

PP here. She is in anesthesia. Works 2, 24-hour shifts per week.

I also knew a cardiac nurse who made $200k. I believe she had a PhD.

My point isn't that all nurses make that salary, it's that they have the potential to. Many doctors (pediatricians, family practitioners, psychiatrists) make less than $200k so being an MD doesn't necessarily mean you have a higher salary.

It's kind of disingenuous to say she only works two days a week if she's working 24h shifts. That's 48h/week.

Unless she’s a little hot. And willing to go out with me, and fun to be with.

You just demonstrated yourself not to be high status (whatever that means). I can’t imagine dating a woman who looks down on nurses.

NP here.

2-24 hour shifts is nothing like 9-5 48 hour job. not even close.

the 9-5 everyday is much more draining.

Its more than a 2-day 9-5 but much less than a 5 day.

This is a great argument against dating a nurse. There are some nurses who steal pill. Nurses who murder. Nurses who cheat on their taxes. Nurses who cheat on their spouses. Nurses who color outside the lines. Nurses who eat with their mouths open. Nurses who don't say excuse me after they burp. Nurses who pick their nose. Nurses who drink a glass of wine with dinner. Nurses who kill mosquitos. Nurses who leave dishes in the sink after dinner. Nurses who wear push up bras. Nurses who go commando. Nurses who illegally download movies. Nurses who cheat on tests. Nurses who eat oysters.

Do I need to go on?
