Do you feel sorry for children of celebrities?

Cambridge.

LSE is an economics hard numbers school. Graduating with a Masters in International relations and a focus on aid work with NO AID EXPERIENCE doesn't/didn't qualify Chelsea for zilch so please stop.

I feel most sorry for Christie Brinkley’s kids. I don’t think the issue is that she was so beautiful in her heyday. Rather, she seems so desperate for attention to the extent of trying to overshadow her daughters. I can’t believe a mom would behave like this.

Yep. Alexa Ray Joel is a perfect example. She got all the wrong features of each parent. It's horribly sad and I can't help but wonder if that's a part of why she tried to kill herself. She should have come out beautiful and instead she looks like Billy Joel instead of her model mother, whose OTHER children got her genes instead somehow.

I think Alexa Joel is attractive.

Perhpas, after she had all that plastic surgery. Didn’t she get a nose job and a boob job.

Nose job. But look at her teen year pictures - she's always had a huge chest.

She was a normal teen who now looks like a drag queen.

if I am going to feel sorry for any celebrity off spring it would have to be Ryan O'Neal's kids - what a mess.

I do. They suffer all the normal frustration and embarrassment of growing up but on magazine pages. We have friends who are household names, but not “celebrities”. The wife once described their lives like living in a very small town where all your neighbors are super nosy. They are super protective of the children’s privacy. No social media posts. The older daughter used her middle name and mom’s maiden name to attend sleep away camp.

What? Do you understand what McKinsey is? What PP is saying is that is what all graduates get, but you have to come from the right schools.

I agree but happen to like ethnic-looking women with sharp features. Her half sister looks like her mom, but would you want a father who is a douchebag like Peter Cook.

Alexa Joel is not just attractive but drop dead gorgeous. Y’all need to get your eyes checked. She wasn’t ugly any age

I agree.

She wasn't blonde Christie Brinkley but she is and has been a dramatic, intense beauty.

I got a small taste of it when my dad became major of our medium size city. I can't even imagine how it is on a larger scale. No thank you. I was so relieved when my mom put her foot down on the governor's race. He found a seat in the Senate which was much better as every day citizens tend not to really know who is on the Senate vs who the major is.

No clue why my phone changes mayor to major!!!! Sorry

Doesn't matter what WE think, its about her own self-worth compared to her supermodel mother.

I love my new nose!” Alexa Ray Joel says, smiling. “I could talk about my new nose all day. See, they shaved off the bump.” She turns her head to display her new profile. “There’s no great shame in having your nose fixed,” she says. “It’s not like I’m hiding some drug problem.”

“It’s tough to live in that shadow … I’ve been pushing and pulling and I’m still fighting my way out of it.”

Also having a nutritionist, trainer, and plastic surgery worked wonders for her. Don't lie. And next to Christie and Sailor anyone would feel ugly.

I feel sorry for the kids of celebrities who are in the spotlight and ate robbed of normal childhood, grow up too fast, and really struggle to crawl out once they hit rock bottom - drew Barrymore, Miley cyrus,

Some child actors of celebrities turnout well -kirk Douglas, Angelina jolie, come to mind, but it just seems like for every 1 there are 10 other kid stars that just flounder.

I was going to say some celebrity children thrown to the wolves turn out well - not spoiled and tend to be hard-working. Angelina Jolie, Chris Pine (yeah I had no idea either but his dad was a late 70s star), Miley Cyrus, Dakota Johnson, and Drew Barrymore come to mind.

Martin Sheen's children walk a fine line - which Charlie completely crossed awhile back. Tori Spelling's an idiot. There are others.
