Other kid had 14 GBRS and average at best test scores ... in first round. Yes, I am jaded, but I had one truly gifted kid and one kid who was a hard worker and easy in class ... guess who got in. GBRS rules the day, at least for base school kids.

What were the other scores?

It's great. Your child is gifted. Why that is not enough to get into an advanced academic program makes no sense. No child with a WISC above 130 should be denied.

We appealed with a 141 FSIQ and I hate that I am still nervous she won't get in.

You should be worried. 140 is very marginal this year.

Only for those submitting IQ tests. Sadly. PP it isn't a guarnatee. But rest assured, AAP still accepts average and not very impressive NNAT and CogAT results in the 120 and 130s.

All the parents with kids score of 133+ on WISC should rather complain to aap office instead of just saying they are helpless. Those kids deserve to be in AAP.

Sure - If 130+ is considered High as well. On DCUM any complaints can be done, but results will come only if there is collective complaint to FCPS AAP.

Are the appeals decision mailed to parents directly or it comes from school.
