NP but here is the Bethesda magazine link for the at-large candidates if anyone is still cramming like me.

Albornoz
Balcombe
Hoan Dang
Evan Glass

I didn't realize that the realtors endorsed them, though. I know two of them from current government work and they are top notch.

I was almost the same as you. I voted Albornoz, Dang, Glass and Seth Grimes.

Curious pp, why not Danielle?

Of those you are deciding among, definite yes to Jill Ortman Fouse. She will be the only one on the Council who really understands the school board and the PTAs, having served on both. And about 1/2 of our county budget goes to MCPS.

DP. Danielle Meitiv is an ideologue. Ideologues can be good as activists, but the County Council members have to compromise in order to get anything done.

Yes to Jill Ortman-Fouse. And Hans Riemer. And Evan Glass.

Hans had my vote until a few days ago when he started trashing one of the County Exec candidates.

Not voting for Hans ever since he led the charge to put a tax break in the county budget just to benefit billionaire Mitchell Rales.

Marilyn Balcombe - yes!

The amount of signage outside for all the candidates my polling place was simply amazing.

I was interested in her, but went to her website and couldn’t find any info on her issues!

I live downcounty but voted for Balcombe for some upcounty representation.

Lol well I guess my vote cancels yours out since I only voted for Hans BECAUSE he trashed Elrich.

^^ and I don’t actually mean my vote “cancels yours out” literally. That wouldn’t make sense in this context. Just find it amusing how his statement resulted in such opposite outcomes. I wonder if he did some internal polling and determined he could eke out a few more votes than he’d lose by trashing Elrich. Worked for me.
