Will you find work in this area or is it just for knowledge?

I work in accounting and am using this knowledge to expand my consulting practice. I am offering a lot of data analytics and process design services that I learned in the program as accounting departments could use these skills.

This is great. Where did you get your degree?

Don't want to out myself, but one of the state schools generally ranked in the top 5 in the US (public Ivy). I had in-state tuition. My thinking was that if I go back to school at this age, it has to be a school with a great network that I can use anywhere in the US.

My mom mentioned last night that she and my uncle didn’t know what to do with my late grandfather’s accordion. I said I’d take it! Now I need to find an accordion teacher...

Another kayaker here, although I learned before 50 but spend more time doing it post 50. Tried a SUP, and we have one, but I don’t love it. This summer I am going to take golf lessons. I started running again after a 20 year hiatus while raising kids.

Great list! I'm about to turn 51 and have a list of things I want to learn -- photography, web design, sewing -- but find it difficult to take the first step and get started!
