Yeah, periodontal disease smells BAD

Indeed it smells awful, (as does a festering infection), but nothing at all like poop.

A dentist

Maybe it smells different to different people. My husband has twice had a bad tooth, and it made his breath smell like exactly like manure. Once he got it fixed, the smell was gone.

Or she could possibly be wearing an adult diaper like Depends.

Inflamed appendix.

My son, nephew, husband's co worker all had this smell right before a severe appendicitis attack. But it could linger the smell for years before the attack.

Time to get additives like carrageenan and propylene glycol out of your diet.

My cousin's daughter stayed with us a few summers ago and I noticed she smelled a bit like poo. She was on the bigger side; she was actually staying with us to take part in a children's hospital obesity study. In doing her laundry, I noticed her undies had lots of 'skid marks' in them. I brought it up with my cousin who was very, 'oh, yeah, that happens, forgot to tell you. Want me to make her do her own laundry?" She had no idea why it happened and didn't seem to care. I tried to be as gentle as possible. I handed her the laundry to put away and said, "hey, I noticed some marks in your undies. Is there a certain brand of TP you like? We can go to the store." Turns out, it was a mobility thing and she couldn't reach. Very heartbreaking.

Wet wipes can be easier. Also a bidet.
