Republic Wireless, $87 for 3 lines each with 5 gigs data when on cell and unlimited when on wifi.
That's an old plan that charges $25 for up to 5 gigs. They've since changed their plans to where I can only get 2 gigs for that price. So we're sticking with our old phones and this plan as long as we can. |
| Yes, PP, brought my own phone to Consumer Cellular. |

We went prepaid years ago. We had straight talk ($45/phone with unlimited everything) but then I thought we were overpaying so we switched recently and have three phones on tello (one is $25 and the other two are $20 each) and a fourth phone is on twigby and that is like $7/mo for another month and then will go up to $10. I used to use virgin and republic wireless for phones with my inlaws.
Don't be afraid to go prepaid! They use the same towers as the major phone networks so you just have to know which companies use which tower network and what the coverage is like near you. Moving from straight talk (AT&T towers) to tello (sprint towers) was fine in our area. Good luck. |
| We have two lines with Consumer Cellular and pay $50 plus fees for unlimited text, 250 minutes and 1 GB data. You can pay an extra $5 or $10 to go up to 3 GB. They use the AT&T network for ours so the cell service is fine. I believe the use one other carrier, though it’s escaping me at the moment. Maybe T-Mobile? |
| 130 with taxes 4 lines T-mobile. 6 gigs each data, unlimited talk and text, free int data roaming. We got a discount through my dad's employer. This is an old plan though so don't think they offer it now. |
| $30 per month with Republic. I got one of their Moto phones and love it. I use 2Gb per month. They use the Verizon lines in my area and coverage is very good. I tried Ting and it was terrible. |
I'm about to do this! How's the cell service? OP, I was also thinking of trying out Ting. |
| Loving Total Wireless. $100/month for 4 lines 25GB shared data |
| $50 total for two lines through google project fi. |
| Some of these monthly amounts, does that include the price of the phone or assume you already have the phone to begin with? I think that is a critical difference. |
| Cricket |
| $185 / 4 phones AT&T unlimited data + access to DirectTV.. They were posting ads everywhere.. not sure how other AT&T users here paid so much for so little data. |
Um...wbT was the point of This? You don't know the carrier or the amount you pay per month but just felt like randomly increasing the noise-to-signal ratio of the thread? |
| ~$65 per month for two phones through Ting. Generally use ~2GB of data a month, which is about $20 of the total. |
