Would it be much better if he was having unprotected sex with someone he knew slightly better but the had no exclusivity? Again, make sure your female friend is hip to dating and she asks her partner about being tested, is using protection, and asks point blank if is/has slept with someone recently before she starts sleeping with him and knows where she stands with exclusivity. The advice holds true whether she is dating your guy friend or not.

Here is a theory:

OP slept with the guy friend, the guy met her friend (maybe online, maybe not) and started dating her with serious intent. OP is resentful.

Quite possibly, OP is the thread of I Made A Fool of Myself. If so, maybe OP is feeling regret from how this guy slept with her after never having slept with anyone for 5 years before dating her friend, got it all out with freaky unprotected sex with her, and now won't her text back. OP is ashamed of how much she let this guy in, trusting that she could because he is a male friend that she has secretly been crushing on for years. In the meantime, OP's friend is having all stops pulled out for the other female, OPs friend, and OP thinks its unfair, battling jealously and resentment.
