Wrong, we hate you

Those "tourists" are mostly citizens visiting their nation's capitol city and likely paying your inflated lobbying or government salary.

Uh you missed the point of the post you are responding to.

Most DC residents really appreciate tourists, most of whom are considerate and in town because they appreciate and want to learn about the city we call home.

It is inconsiderate suburban commuters that we hate.

“Capital city.” Jeesh.

Also grateful and if I made the jury I wouldn't give a guilty verdict.

If you are against paying the fines then don't speed - it really is that simple.

I hope they find the vandals and prosecute them - they certainly aren't heroes to any DC residents who want drivers to slow down and obey the damn law. Those that feel differently should move to DC and lobby the DC Council to eliminate the cameras or increase the speed limit.

Otherwise you are guests in the city and should follow the rules as determined by the cities residents.

They are like modern day Robbin Hoods.

More like Al Qaeeda, IMO.

Or ISSSSIS?

I don't hate tourists. I hate snobby suburbanites who assume District residents hate tourists.

Of course you would, because you're a selfish, entitled scumbag.

Since you probably don't live in DC you won't be on the jury.

He’d hardly be the first District juror to nullify the charges. Ask any prosecutor - getting a guilt verdict is tough in this town

Except speed cameras are actually pretty popular among DC residents and the jury would be made up of DC residents not a$$hat suburban commuters.

I think just about everyone who rides the Metro gets annoyed at tourists once tourist season begins and tourists board the escalators.

This is what teens should be doing rather than gaming and worrying about society's ills.

I'm glad someone did it... take that money hungry DC Government.

You may not care about kids' safety, but I'll bet the majority of us does.

No, not everyone sluices out their brain when giving birth. Frankly I care more about adults... You know, the ones actually contributing to society right now.

Oh, and there is a perfectly fine speed enforcer already in effect. It's called physics.

We got extra high speed humps on our NW Street. It’s s pleasure to hear the occasional ass hit his car on esch one because he or she refuses to respect the speed limit sand slow down.
