| South = lighter colors. You don't say how far south you are OP, but darker colors are horrid in the summer. 99 degree weather is why someone chooses lighter colors. |
| We’ve owned many cars and it all depends on the car and the actual color whether it looks nice. I’d have to see this brown in person to know. I have a deep burgundy metallic that is just gorgeous in the shade in bright sunlight. Many people have told how stunning it is and how nice it looks with the black tires and trim. We only buy metallic colors since they show less dirt and wear better over time. |
North Florida. |
| Well its better than black or red in my opinion. It seems pretty neutral. |
All my cars have been navy except for the first one which was a brighter blue. Love it. |
I love orange, so not brown. |
| Pass on it. You won't be happy. |
White is the ugliest of all colors for a car. |
Only 3 cars on the road are tasteful. The rest are just ugly boxes with wheels. |
| I would buy a brown car if I liked it. Do you like it? If not, do you care about a good price more than liking the vehicle? These are the questions I'd ask myself in making this decision. Who cares what anyone else thinks. (FWIW, there are some brown cars I'd definitely go for; others I'd really not care for.) |
The pearl white a lot of higher end cars use now is very nice and doesn’t show salt/dirt as much as dark cars. It’s than the stark white. Trends happen. Silver was big. Metallic grey. Moss green. There was a time that baby bluish color was in. |

Interesting fact about car color popularity: 70% of the overall car population worldwide are grey, silver, white or black.
Red, brown/gold, blue and beige represent only 6-9% each. All other colors less than 5%.. |
White has been the most popular car color for 7 years running, followed by black than silver. |
That is interesting. Thanks for sharing that info. |
That's because most work vehicles and work trucks are white. Cop cars too. |
