What is a simple easy thing your spouse does that you find thoughtful/romantic?

LOL....All I see is what he does for his wife but nothing from a wife doing anything for him. Perhaps many of you are like mine and don't do squat! I cook, clean the house, do the grocery shopping, deal with the kids appointments and more. It may be worth it if she was good in bed but she avoids that as well.

You could see it as representative of the fact that this website is like 80% female so most of the respondent pool is more likely to be wives.

He cooks all the time and never complains if I have to work late and he has to take care of our DS. (His job is more flexible, but still...)

this. I do it ALL around the house. Cleaning, cooking. laundry, shopping...ALL of it while she withholds sex 3-5 months at a time. Yet I'm told I don't "cherish" her. GTFOH...

He cries at sentimental moments. I won an award at work recently and DH had to wipe away tears during my boss' intro...

I'm 63 and I love it when my DH says "I'd sure love to see you in that red silk nightgown." Pretty nice at 63.

He does a lot, but most recently he handled bedtime so I could watch The X-Files.

My wife and I don't have the best relationship. We've been on a rocky road for several years. I always use the same pen for work. It's a simple white pen from Pilot and only costs about $20. In my field I write often so it's become habit to have it on me at all times.

Several months ago I lost it during a site visit (work in real estate). It wasn't until I got back home did I realize it was gone. Two days later I come home from work and my wife gives me a new one. She ended up searching for it online that night and ordered one.

We've been together for almost eight years. This is probably one of the nicest things she's done for me. I was not expecting it at all. Too bad she rarely does this. in 2017 we discussed separating three times. If it weren't for our one child we would be separated.

Why? Is this supposed to be the Women bitch about your Husbands Forum? Some women, not all, have it pretty damn good. I'm jealous he gets 3-5/month. I'm lucky for 3-5 times a year and she swears she is not a lesbian.

I don't know why, but I think this is my favorite one.

When we were dating now DH and I used to say "last meatball is love." He'd always let me have the last meatball from the spaghetti.
