What is a simple easy thing your spouse does that you find thoughtful/romantic?

He doesn't mind going out for even the smallest things. A rx, an ingredient, gassing up the car. He's so awesome like that. And he never nags about anything.

He never eats the last few cookies in the house. He always saves it for me, but quietly. It took me years to even figure out he was doing it! When I asked he said, "Well, I just know you like cookies."

I don't know why, but I think this is my favorite one.

I would love this!

Do words of endearment and physical contact bother you in general? I'd love if my DH did something like that first thing in the morning rather than ask what's for breakfast!

Because he's in the friend zone, so that romantic stuff is creepy.

He wants you to get fat so you don't leave him.

NP, I actually thought my DH had had this thought. Whenever I mention I want to lose a pound or two ... he goes out and buys me chocolate.

My husband always makes me a cup of coffee in the morning, helps with baths, is a great dad to our boys, washes dishes when he can, rubs my hair at night which is my favorite, and has been incredibly understanding as I have been more sickly than usual this past year. Count my blessings.

My husband always makes me coffee (with cream and sugar) and brings it to me when we’re home. When we’re at a restaurant he always ‘prepares’ it. I love it.

He does the kids baths all the time and makes it so much fun! I can hear giggles downstairs. I love that too.

There are other things, but they are best summed up with his attempts at acts of service as a love language. That’s what’s important to me. He prefers words of affirmation so I know this is hard for him. That’s why, even when the acts of service are ‘wrong’ or not the way I would like them, I really really try to tell him how much I appreciate it.

He brings me coffee in bed, handles bath time every night, scrapes off my car when it snows, will run out to pick up random things if I ask for it without complaining from prescriptions to fulfilling my coke zero craving by running out to 7-11. Also does the dishes most nights as it is not my favorite task but in exchange I do things he doesn't like to do like fold all the laundry.

Always offers to switch entrees with me when I order something at a restaurant that isn't good.
