Are you the sad poster who turns every thread into a discussion of race? It is beyond tiresome.

What's beyond tiresome is this post where OP gleefully posted a picture of 3 black guys, don't tell me you missed the intent.

Back in the USA-they are suspended.

They were caught on tape and even in the USA [but especially in China] at that height it would be difficult to assume cases of mistaken identity. It's China-how stupid are these people?

They were given 90 minutes of free time during this amazing travel opportunity and they decided "hey let's go steal from 3 different stores"?

Presidents do this all the time. That's what our state department is for. This is not new. I can't get over how dumb these guys were. If I were their mother, I would be in jail after I murdered my son for embarrassing me like that. Terrible.

With that said, remember the dumb kid in Singapore? Our young men are entitled little shits and forget that Americans don't run the world. So great, thanks Trump, but this is a part of his job.

They should be expelled permanently. They are thieves.

They're suspended from the basketball team but shouldn't they be suspended from the university altogether? I presume the school has some sort of disciplinary process and I assume that thee kids violated the schools code of conduct.

The articles I read seemed to stress all charges were dropped, implying there's nothing to punish the students for. I think they should be expelled. You just embarrassed the university with a global story. Looks like dumb goons go to UCLA. They certainly don't deserve the privilege of full ride scholarships and playing on the shooty hoops team.

Did you watch them read their statements? My third grader can read from a prepared statement with less hang ups!

Not a chance these three can do college level work, esp at UCLA.

I doubt your 3rd grader has had to read a written statement under similar circumstances of emotional stress and intense media scrutiny.

But they've admitted to the thefts so regardless of whether the charges were dropped they're guilty of the crimes.

+1 Yeah, I would give them a pass on that as well.

Are they emotionally stressed because they got caught?

Problem is they have been given too many passes because of their athletic abilities. They will kern more from someone calling them out rather than babying them.
