| I honestly don't feel like dealing with it. The office should have done it in the first place. I just don't feel like fighting it at this point. Maybe I will when I snap out of my funk. |
see if you can have them bill this as pregnancy visit (assuming your insurance covers it) |
| I received paperwork in the mail from my insurance today. SG actually submitted the claims for all of my betas (didn't realize SG doesn't cover them!!! Ugh) and my ultrasounds...claims all denied. What the hell?? I have federal BCBS. They are the worst. I had nothing but problems with them when I was getting diagnostics done for infertility. Anyway, I now owe another $400 on top of the $350 I already paid. This better get straightened out. I'll call BCBS on Monday. I can't believe SG doesn't cover the betas...geezzzzzzz |
| PP here...I forgot to add I looked up my insurance benefits and my maternity US and blood work are all covered. Hoping it's just a stupid billing error. SG charged $100 per beta on top of an office visit charge. I hate this crap. |
I had federal BCBS when I was with SG and they covered my betas and ultrasound. I was using Clomid but it should be covered even if you were doing IUI or IVF. I'd fight this but not now. take time for yourself and then follow up when you have the stamina to do this. Or perhaps your SO can fight this battle for you? Good luck and sending hugs. |
