Perhaps so. But I think terms like bimbo describe a behavior that goes beyond simply being sexually promiscuous. The women Hef slept with, especially in his older age, were willing to take part in orgies with a man old enough to be their great-grandfather for money or some other benefit. During his last decade, three women actually agreed to enter a polygamous relationship with him, which included being given an allowance, and curfew and without shame agreed to have their pathetic lives filmed for a TV show. I can think of no better term than bimbo to describe these women. |
And no one over 17 read Maxim. PP sounds silly. |

Good riddance. He normalized treating women as disposables, like tissues. What a creep.
|
Total BS. Any woman over age 40 was totally useless and might as well have been dead as far as Hefner and his ilk were concerned. They used women like Kleenex, nothing more. |
Probably wanted to pay for all the abortions he had women have. |
| It's sad when people die. But that's all I have to say. |
LOL in 1950 women were considered an old maid if they were not marriage by 22. Educate yourself and stop voting for Trump. |

These were consenting women. He helped launch a lot of careers. I wish I could've gone to one of his parties.
- Straight, boring, married, suburban mom. |
He showed middle class American women that it was ok to be interested in sex. |
| Apparently sex robots are becoming better than lifelike so women won't have to worry about being sexually attractive anymore. |
I was the one that stated the women chose to do what they did in regards to Hef... Anyway, are you comparing women who are in a physically abusive relationship to women who got paid to pose nude in a magazine? You don't have to like him, I couldn't care any less, but don't be so extreme and dramatic. |
One of the sketches approved by dear old Hef for Playboy. |
And someone's favorite teacher years later is labeled a pedophile. your point is? |
+1 |
What makes you think that Playboy bunnies were hungry homeless women? |
