I am sticking with Ramesh.

There is no way one could confuse it with a term for vagina, it doesn't sound like other American names, and it fits in the allotted spaces on the dot form for standardized tests.

I am biased. My first love was a Ramesh.

I have to agree to stay away from Vijayjay.

And, it really is such a personal decision with personal preferences. I cannot stand some of these Indian names - Gaurav? Really? It's such an awkward name to pronounce.
Raj is just too common. There are so many Rajs.
