Why is being born smart seen as morally superior to being born beautiful?

OP here. This comment perfectly illustrates my point. Why the vicious undertone?

Why do women who claim to be bright take pleasure in putting down other women just for their good looks? Why do they feel superior about an IQ that was a genetic accident? Their intelligence was no more earned than the prom queen's large bust.

Because they are jealous. There is nothing in the world as fun as being a beautiful woman. Nothing.

First of all, I'm always surprised at how many anonymous posters claim they are indeed beautiful. There are far too many definitions of beauty. Remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

As far as the "fun" part is concerned, you can have all the fun in the world - dating, turning heads, sleeping around, edging another woman out of a job b/c you're a 36D, etc. - but fun times end eventually. All the Botox and plastic surgery will never replace whatever natural beauty you had in youth.

Cognition may fade with age, but vapidity is forever.
