Do you have your spouse's picture in your facebook profile

I cringe everytime I see anyone over the age of 40 using a "selfie" as their profile picture.

Sure, kids in their 20's do it because they're supposed to be vain, but taking selfies over the age of 40 just looks lonely, pathetic & sad.

Is 39 OK?

You sound like the lonely, pathetic and sad one.

Sometimes he's in it. Sometimes he's not. Depends whether he's earned it lately. It's a coveted status to be in my FB photo, as I am a key influencer among my 35 followers consisting of my mom, other elderly relatives, and random college friends.

95 profile pics, and most are just me. However:

1 of me & DH at our wedding reception
6 of me & the baby
1 Warhol cat (pink pussy)
1 of me & the dog I used after I put him to sleep
2 drawings of me
1 stack of books
2 of me & ex-DH @ 18 & 22
1 of me and a girlfriend when she was PG
1 of me & my old cat
1 of me & a niece & nephew
2 of one of my cats
1 of me and the dean and my PhD advisor at graduation
1 of a cartoon character
1 of a cookie

Correct. Meaning the remaining 73 are just me.

Sometimes. Right now it is, but not usually, since DH is not at all interested in Facebook. I vary it, sometimes I don't even use my own pic but a graphic I like.

Sometimes, depends on the pic. I've had our whole family, me and him, or just me.

Agree it's super annoying when it's JUST the kids.

???

You'd obviously be in it. This crap is over the top.

Going through my facebook friends, it looks like about 1 in 10 profile pics are couples photos, and about another 1 or 2 in 10 are mom with kids. So most are just individual photos. As is mine.

I just went through my friend list. Majority have a profile photo with their spouse/significant other or a picture with their family/children. Except for a few (3) that had a solo profile pic, and those people are single.

I'm a middle aged married guy, so it never occurred to me to have anything but a photo of myself as my Facebook profile.

Aha, get called out and just respond with a lame insult. Sure sign it's you that had a nerve struck.

No. I have a picture of me with my husband and kids as my cover, but the profile pic is just my face.
