Amazing Race

I think the strangers aspect really brought new life to the show this season. They should do another season like this.

Super hot Logan is dating Sara of Sara and Shamir.

+1
I absolutely loved Team Fun. The two of them were truly so *fun* and couldn't have made a better match. I felt awful for Floyd when he got heatstroke. He had had one hell of a day and was simply exhausted. Poor guy. So loveable.

I think he is from Wisconsin, like my DH who loathes DC summer. I think people from places that don't get insanely hot and humid have a hard time.

Really? I liked her a lot - gorgeous and smart. She really got a lemon for a partner though. I actually think Logan is also gorgeous and smart - so I'm happy to hear they're dating. London seems nice as well, but I can't get Ellen DeGeneres out of my head when I see her.

(I think she looks anorexic, actually). Did she not think to maybe start working out to build strength and stamina before the show? Her screaming and whining through everything, omg. And it was hilarious that she blames Scott for not holding the damn ladder.

Who picked who in that team, does anyone remember?

So far, I'm pleasantly surprised by Redmond and the snowboarder.

I don't think Brooke is anorexic, just very small and thin. I used to be built like her before putting on the pounds in middle age. But I agree, she should never have tried out for the show, knowing she wouldn't be able to physically handle most of the tasks. She is repulsive, and the constant berating of Scott, who seems to be bending over backwards to be patient with her, was just horrendous. Especially calling HIM abusive!?! I imagine Scott picked her in the beginning, because no way would she have been fast enough to complete the initial task. I'm sure he's kicking himself.

I was shocked to see that Brooke is 36 years old and behaves the way she does. I had her pegged as younger from sheer brattiness. She has been extremely lucky in life thus far not to have lost it on someone who would happily shut her shrieking mouth for her. Like many who get on these shows (the model who was knocked out in the first round) she may be hoping for exposure leading to a career boost. The problem is her woe is me I caaaaaaaaaaan't routine is grating.

Me too

I'm really bummed too, the two teams I picked at the beginning are both out now.

On the other hand, I really like the Mom and Pop team.

I have a creeping feeling that Brooke and Scott are going to win, though, yuck!

Ugh. I can't believe how this ended. SO disappointing.

Did you notice how everyone had fake smiles when they ran up on the platform? Ugh, indeed.

I can't believe I watched this entire season full of great teams and then had to watch Brooke and Scott win. What a disappointment.

I'm okay with Scott winning but Brooke was intolerable and obnoxious. If I was partnered with someone like Brooke, I don't think I would've displayed the same patience.

When Brooke was directing Scott in the scoreboard challenge, she was 100% calm and rational. I liked that Brooke. I wanted to know where was she in all the other challenges?

I'm wondering how much of a "crazy" edit she got and how true to life it was.

The Wrigley scoreboard challenge did not seem overly difficult. I was expecting something harder... prior final puzzles have included matching the countries to flags (and AR would include extra/random flags to throw people off).

I agree that the Brooke in the final episode was a Brooke I liked. As opposed to all the other Brooke's I hated. Yet, even when she's being agreeable and rational, she's *still* screaming and it gets SO OLD.

After seeing that side of her - the sane, positive side, I was kind of happy to see them win. I've liked Scott all along and thought he was saintly to put up with Brooke. But I was also sad for the losing teams - both were great (LoLo and Mom and Dad). All in all, a great group of contestants this season.

I love Amazing Race, but always hate the last leg of the race. It rarely feels exciting or challenging.

We were not happy that Brooke and Scott won.
