Any thoughts on this season?
I think my favorite teams are "The Boys," Team Fun, and the butcher and his partner. |
I just wish the injured "window washer" would go. He's driving me nuts and is clearly a serious threat to the sanity of his partner.
|
Pun intended??? |
He's pretty much how I imagine a stereotypical young investment banker - good looking, kind of unnecessarily aggressive, and has no self awareness to realize how bad he is at everything. |
OMG, I completely agree. He's such a whiny baby. This past episode, he got a splinter building the desk. ![]() |
I also no longer like the guy with the prosthetic leg, who I did initially like. What a d-bag and a bully. |
+1 And then he said he's a guy so he doesn't do drama...yet he started all the drama. Nice sexism. |
I was SO SO happy to see Shamir eliminated, though I will miss Sara. She was the only contestant I really liked. Shamir, however, was the most passive-aggressive jerk. So glad he and his smug smirk are gone. |
I feel like Sara and Scott should be on a team together. I like the prosthetic leg guy team. If you are going to U turn somebody you need to handle the repercussions. He was just talking smack. Lots of teams have done that in the past. Nothing sexist about it. |
Redmond, the wounded warrior, was also very kind to Brooke, who was struggling with (and freaking out on) the ladle challenge.
|
I agree about Sara and Scott - they'd make a good team. Unfortunately, Scott has to put up with the incredibly whiny Brooke, who apparently, in addition to being unable to perform any physical task, also can't eat a plate of salmon. She is atrocious. |
PP again - forgot to add that I also agree about the U-turn. In so many seasons, people get SO offended and upset when they're U-turned, but *it's part of the game*. It's so ridiculous when people get their noses out of joint in response to another team using a tool at their disposal. I like Matt, but the prosthetic guy (Redmon?) really is a bit of a bully. First, they reneged on their deal with Ashton and Vanck, and then when they were U-turned as a result, Redmon was such a jerk, trying to intimidate them. And he was the one who claimed he "didn't do drama," yet there he was, stirring up drama rather than just taking the U-turn like a good sport and shutting up about it. |
Brooke would never have completed that challenge had three separate people not stopped to help her. I like Scott, but she should have cost them the game right there. And after nagging him for giving their extra key to Team Fun, she wound up needing others to help her. I hope she's been humbled by that. |
Team Lolo - I like them but thought they would be doing better
Team Fun - The girl sounds like a burnout who smokes a lot of weed. I like them though. Vanck and Ashton - Vanc cant make a decision and Ashton is unlikeable Snowboarder and military dude - The snowboarder seems cool; too bad the military dude is an insecure bully. They have the best chance to win but I hope they lose. Army lady and cop - Neither seem particularly smart, doing better than I would have expected. Brooke and Scott - She struggles. |
Kind of bummed that Team Fun got booted. I thought they had a pretty good chance, plus their great attitude and constant laughing was infectious. |
